NEWS RELEASE 05-09

Endurance Gold Corporation (EDG -- TSX.V) has received the results from the recently completed geological mapping, soil and silt geochemical sampling, and IP surveys completed over a small 3.5 kilometre grid on the BQ Property, located in the Smithers region of northwestern British Columbia. Key points include;

  • The soil geochemistry has defined a very strong, east-west trending coincident zinc-arsenic anomaly over 300 metres of strike length, and 250 metre width. The anomaly is open to the west. Internal to the large zinc-arsenic anomaly are several smaller coincident silver anomalies.

  • The IP survey has defined a very strong chargeability anomaly over 250 metres of strike, and from 200 to 300 metres in width. The anomaly is coincident with the aforementioned soil anomaly, and is open ended to the east.

  • Mapping has indicated that the anomalous soil values and IP are hosted in Cretaceous aged, Skeena Group felsic volcanics, that the BC Geological Survey considers favourable for hosting Eskay Creek type deposits. Mineralization defined to date is situated proximal to a conformable contact with Skeena group sediments, as well as east-west trending property scale structures that extend for four kilometres on the claim block. To date, the Company has only evaluated 400 metres of that strike length.

The BQ Project, acquired in September, has been rapidly advanced to become one of the Company's cornerstone projects, and will be a significant component of the 2006 exploration effort.
